As part of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, the MRC will be tabling at a community event at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, ME.
About the event:
In honor of National Crime Victims Rights Week (NCVRW), the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office and Portland Maine Police Department are hosting a Victims' Rights Community Event. This year's theme, Kinship, Connecting & Healing, is a call to action to recognize that shared humanity should be at the center of supporting all survivors and victims of crime. This is a free event for victims of crime and community members. Service providers will be tabling throughout from 3 to 8pm. A full schedule is below - we hope you will join for any portion you can, particularly the evening vigil.
